Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who has relevant experience of working within a mental health setting?
Guildford Community Mental Health Recovery Service is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Band 7 Clinical Team Lead to join the team full time (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm).
We are seeking an individual that holds NMC, HCPC (OT) or SWE qualification to provide clinical leadership and support the multidisciplinary team to deliver secondary mental health care to the local working age adult population.
The successful applicant will be part of the multi-disciplinary team and is an ideal opportunity for someone who has an interest in leadership and a desire to champion excellent care for the individuals requiring our services.
The candidate must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be part of the multi-disciplinary team and is an ideal opportunity for someone who has an interest in leadership and a desire to champion excellent care for the individuals requiring our services. Highlights of this role include:
- Being a vital part of the leadership team identifying challenges and exploring solutions.
- Being a positive role model for the members of the CMHRS, providing coaching, mentoring and supervision to develop both individuals and the team collectively
- Taking an active role in ensuring that standards of care are maintained at a high level
- Working with the Service Manager to ensure that the environment and workload is conducive to staff wellbeing and care delivery
- The post holder will deputise in the absence of the Service Manager.
- To work clinically alongside the team as a Senior Practitioner expert within their professional discipline
-To promote the principles of Improving Working Lives amongst team members ensuring fairness and equity.

Experience

- A minimum of 5 years post registration experience. .
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Managerial or Leadership role (Band 6 or higher).
Desirable criteria
- Experience in working within a community mental health team
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
