This is a great opportunity to join the Workforce Directorate and support its Director of Workforce and senior team to deliver the Trust’s People Plan. The Executive Assistant and Business Manager will be responsible to the Director of Workforce. You will support her to develop, communicate and promote key workforce initiatives and projects across the Trust and the wider Integrated Care Systems. You will also ensure effective administrative processes and monitoring are in place to support the smooth running and integration of the Workforce division.
This post will suit someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to connect with people at all levels within the organisation, and experience in the use of social media platforms. You will be extremely well organised, with a good attention to detail and a keen interest in human resources.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible to the Director of Workforce for delivering confidential and efficient Executive Assistant support in a timely and professional way. The postholder will also provide business management support to the Director of Workforce and wider management team to ensure the integration of the Workforce division and development and promotion of key workforce initiatives across the Trust.
The postholder will also support the Director of Workforce and senior team to ensure effective planning and communication with key internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of the Workforce Division objectives and People Plan.

- Experience working as an Executive Assistant at Executive Board level with minimal supervision.
- Experience of organising and ensuring the effective administration of meetings including Committees and taking accurate and presentable minutes
- Experience of developing communications for a range of audiences using various media platforms (including social media)
- Ability to manage, develop and maintain and intranet pages to promote the work of the department
- Ability to establish effective relationships to ensure awareness of ongoing work and developments which support the delivery of workforce objectives
- Experience of preparing reports and presenting to a range of audiences
- Proficient in using Microsoft packages e.g. Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Working independently on non-routine matters and exercising judgement and decision making skills across the work area
