About us
- We’re a major local employer, with a diverse workforce of c5,000 providing healthcare services to a growing population of around 535,000.

Would you like to join our pharmacy team based at East surrey Hospital?
We offer a nationally recognised qualification, with fully supported training and the chance to work in a progressive patient centered environment. East Surrey Pharmacy Department is an environment which provides exciting opportunities for career progression.
A varied role with rotations to different areas within our mini-teams, enabling experience of medicine use across all specialties, including other rotations based in the dispensary and pharmacy stores. Duties include going to wards to order stock and deliver medicines, supplying medicines from pharmacy stores and dispensing medicines in the dispensary.
Previous experience of working in a pharmacy environment (hospital or retail) is desirable, but not essential as full in-house training will be provided, including support to gain BTech level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills. To qualify for enrolment on BTech level 2 it is essential that you have GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications) at grade C (4) or above in English Language, Mathematics and a Science.
Hours of work depends on specific service requirements and will include participation in late duty, weekend and bank holiday working. Part time working and job share will be considered. A significant amount of manual handling is involved.
