The Joint Head of Learning Disabilities and Autism Integrated Commissioning is responsible for the integrated care system’s strategic commissioning, relationship management and transformation in regard to SEND and Learning Disabilities.
The role has the specific aim of ensuring that adults and children with learning Disabilities and or Autism receive clinically effective care.

They will be clinically responsible for the commissioning of safe, high quality healthcare for children’s adults with Learning Disabilities and or Autism with physical and or complex mental health presentations
To achieve this, the role will lead the transformation of health and social care pathways interfacing with a wide range of providers in health and social care, and the 3rd sector, that deliver care to Children and Adults with LD and or Autism
Where necessary, unblocked or streamline them for individual cases.
They will be required to perform this in a matrix style working arrangement in collaboration with and across multiple organisations and professional groups within and beyond the Surrey footprint. Also, in relation to regional or national initiatives such as those specified by Networks or NHS England.
