Sylwer bod ychwanegiad dros dro ar gyfer Bandiau 1,2 a 3 i adlewyrchu ymgorffori'r ychwanegiad i’r cyflog byw, sef £12 yr awr - £23,465 y flwyddyn. Bydd yr ychwanegiad dros dro hwn yn weithredol hyd nes y bydd y codiad cyflog blynyddol ar gyfer 2024/25 wedi’i gadarnhau.
Gellir cyflwyno ceisiadau yn y Gymraeg. Ni fydd ceisiadau a gyflwynir yn y Gymraeg yn cael eu trin yn llai ffafriol na chais a gyflwynwyd yn y Saesneg.
Trosolwg o'r swydd
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Support workers, for full time posts to work within Dan y Bont providing specialist care for people with learning disabilities, we are part of Swansea Bay University Health Board's Mental Health and Learning Disability Delivery Unit.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a seven-day service, which includes weekend, nights, and bank holidays.
Dan y Bont offers a dynamic and challenging work environment, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities who present with behaviours which can challenge. We aim to provide a high-quality, person-centred approach based on the Positive Behaviour Support model.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
The post holder will work closely with qualified nursing staff to contribute to the care and development of those accessing continuing healthcare ensuring a holistic delivery of care and services which are coherent and consistently applied. They will promote equality for all service users through anti discriminatory practice, supporting individuals’ rights, choices, beliefs and identity and by supporting individuals through effective communication.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge

- Minimum of Qualification Credit Framework – QCF Level 3 (formerly NVQ Level 3) in Health or willingness to complete in agreed timeframe
- Evidence of maintaining their personal development
- Demonstrates an understanding of the scope of the role in the context of the nursing team
- Knowledge and understanding of the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Wales
- Knowledge and understanding of the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Wales
- Knowledge of the fundamentals aspects of care and the importance of the promotion of health and wellbeing
- Understanding of basic physiology, e.g. normal vital signs, fluid balance, nutritional requirements
- Understands the principles of confidentiality
- Understands the principles of consent prior to undertaking care
- Understands the principles of Safeguarding adults/children to keep patients within their care safe
- Understanding of when to seek advice and escalate to the appropriate registered professional for expert help and advice
- Understanding of the Health Board’s Values and Behaviour Framework
