Job overview
It’s an exciting time to come and join Morriston Service Group as Service Manager, supporting the great work we are doing to become a high quality organisation that provides excellent care to patients.
We are currently looking to recruit a talented and highly motivated Service Manager with a number of opportunities across our divisions. As a Service Manager the post holder will support the Directorate Manager by providing operational management and business development of designated clinical speciality services within the Directorate/Division.
The post holder will provide timely, efficient and effective operational management support to the Directorate Manager and the speciality leads to ensure that services are responsive and provided to the highest clinical and performance standards.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will also support developing and implementing projects and business cases to improve cost, service delivery and patient experience to the key speciality areas and will ensure continuous improvement of performance and quality targets.

· Hospital Operations, Discharge, EPRR (Secondment 12 months)
· Acute Emergency Care (ED, MIU Services) (Secondment 6 months)
· Acute Emergency Care (AMU, SDEC) (Secondment 12 months)
· Medicine (Neurology & Stroke) (Permanent)
· Pathology – Laboratory Medicine and Cellular Pathology (Permanent)
On behalf of the Directorate Manager the post holder is responsible for the day to day operational issues within designated area of responsibility to ensure the Service Group delivers on its key targets and priorities in a safe, sustainable and effective environment.
