They will have excellent team working skills including experience of working with multi-agencies and across teams. The post holders will work as an autonomous practitioner to assess, diagnose and manage a range of speech, language and communication difficulties in a shared specialist caseload of children and young people across the footprint.  You will support and facilitate student placements and mentor new members of staff. Experience of working in and managing a number of schools is desirable but support will be given. Working with Welsh medium pupils forms part of the role and so the ability to speak Welsh is desirable. There will be opportunities to gain skills organising and creating training, developing supervision skills and participating in total team development days and team meetings. You will also work with our senior therapists and wider team to ensure our service provides efficient, effective, patient centred care.
