Trosolwg o'r swydd
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Medical Devices Team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust, based at St Nicholas Hospital in Gosforth.
The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously, have a willingness to learn, and ability to be visible in clinical areas. The post holder will support the Trust Medical Devices Clinical Lead to provide a safe, efficient and effective service which includes administrative work, auditing, and maintenance of databases and systems.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
The post holder will be accountable to the Head of Infection Prevention and Control. They will be expected to provide administrative support to include maintenance of databases and systems, and coordination of relevant meetings to include agenda preparation and minute taking. They may be required to input information onto the Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) System to manage and maintain the Trust Inventory.
They will be responsible for purchasing Trust standard medical equipment, and may be expected to support with organising repairs, maintenance, and calibration, working closely with NTW Solutions and carrying out the cycle of medical device audits.
They will review medical device related incidents reported via the Trust’s web based incident reporting system, ensuring appropriate action is taken where possible. They will work within well-defined administration systems, and processes to deliver their duties and responsibilities and assist the Medical Devices Clinical Lead in reviewing and updating the Policy and Practice Guidance Notes.
The post holder will also work collaboratively with the wider Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Team to support with the delivery of the IPC work plan, and other duties as deemed necessary.

- Knowledge of administrative procedures, including specialised medical device, acquired through formal training or experience to diploma level equivalent
