Job overview
This is an exciting role to join the Business and Transformation team in CWPTs Adult and Older Adult Mental Health Directorate. We are the organisation largest directorate and this is a senior leadership role. The post holder will have autonomy and be responsible for the delivery of quality and operational improvement strategy. The role will be critical to support delivery of directorate and trust objectives by enhancing clinical models of care.
Main duties of the job
They will be expert in the monitoring of clinical and operational outcomes of services and will understand how to find unwanted variances in clinical practice and clinical outcomes for patients.
They will use this knowledge to work with clinical teams where a differentiation is demonstrated, working with that clinical team to understand immediate and longer-term issues which need support to resolve. They will be the directorate champion for evidence-based and best practice working, enabling and facilitating sharing of the same across teams within the directorate.
They will be actively interested in the leadership and working behaviours, which underpin how teams function, to create bespoke development packages for clinical teams aligned to their individual needs and ambitions.
They will lead service reviews and evaluations for the directorate to capture quality, value for money and how we can reduce health inequalities and optimise positive access, experience and outcomes for staff and patients.
This work will focus in particular on the facilitation of teams/professionals to work effectively together (this may be with teams and organisations from outside CWPT).

- Educated to a Masters level or demonstrable knowledge at the same level
- Evidence of other leadership training and commitment to personal development
- Extensive experience in developing effective teams a clinical setting
Experience

- Relevant experience of team management a senior level in the NHS or within an equivalent healthcare setting,
- Relevant experience of working proactively with clinical teams, facilitating stakeholder acknowledgement and the benefits of integrated working
- Experience of driving impactful service change
