Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Detailed job description and main responsibilities:
As a team we work systemically to understand and support the significant impact and challenges experienced by children who are in mental health crisis, and their families.
In order to do this, we work with the network around the child/adult (e.g. RISE, Adult Mental Health, Social Care, Education) and work closely with commissioners. As a speech and language therapist you will have experience of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working as you will need to attend and chair regular MDT’s, CETR’s and EMDT’s.
As a Speech and Language Therapist you would visit child in their home / at school / in appropriate setting multiple times a week to engage them and carry out our assessments and interventions.
This is an exciting time to join our Team as we mature and expand and continue to look for innovative ways to support the families we work with. If you are passionate and motivated and are driven to prevent children from being admitted to hospital, then we want to hear from you.
We are holding open sessions for you to find out more about the team and what we offer. Please email for further details on how to book onto a session or arrange an informal visit. Please contact:
