The Estates and Facilities department have the following vacancies at the Seven stars industrial estate.
Various posts and hours
1 x 15 hours per week
5pm - 8pm
This Band 2 post principally provides the catering and cleaning service to various ward areas at The Caludon Centre.
All posts attract generous paid holiday entitlement from commencement.
Uniform will be provided; full training will be given and there are training opportunities to gain qualifications.
Main duties of the job
We provide a catering, cleaning and portering service within the MHU.
Also a cleaning and portering service to our community units

Person specification
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential criteria
- Level 2 Food Safety Award hold or be able to attain
- GCSE level numeracy/literary or can demonstrate same
- Basic Skills IT qualification or can demonstrate same
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Essential criteria
- Previous knowledge of use of cleaning/catering equipment
- Ability to maintain accurate written records
EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria
- Some experience of working within a healthcare service
Applicant requirements
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
