Part-time 0.6 WTE - Permanent role
Due to expansion of the Coventry and Warwickshire Perinatal Mental Health Loss pathway we have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join our Perinatal Mental Health Team to work within the Psychology ‘Loss Pathway”,
Specialist training in relation to loss and trauma will be offered to the successful candidate.
The loss pathway is embedded within the Perinatal Mental Health Team and will be made up of Clinical psychology, Psychological therapist, Assistant psychologist, Midwifery and peer support . We are therefore looking for someone who values and enjoys multi-disciplinary working and has a high level of understanding of the distinct contribution psychological approaches can make to the service user recovery and to staff and team functioning.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can work confidently on their own as well as supporting the team. Good communication, problem solving skills and an interest in Perinatal Mental health are essential in this role.
You are required to be a driver with access to a car that can be used for business purposes. An ability to demonstrate the Trust’s vision and values in practice is beneficial. The role has the expectation of supervising junior staff.
Visits to the team or questions are encouraged to appreciate this exciting role.

Essential criteria
- Professional nursing/midwifery qualifications, RM
- Professional clinical qualification etc.
- Management Leadership Training/Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
Essential criteria
- Knowledge and understanding of NHS national and local drivers
- Comprehensive understanding of midwifery services and the impact of loss.
- Clinical leadership and supervisory management skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Experience
Essential criteria
- Operational management experience within NHS acute services
- Experience of supervising and clinically leading a team
- Significant clinical experience within midwifery and preferably MH.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
