Team Secretary to support the Senior Management Team

The role is interesting and varied and we are looking for individuals who are personable, empathetic and comfortable working within the mental health service environment.

To provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to clinical and non-clinical teams across all services in the building, adhering to procedures and processes within service timescales, whilst operating within a busy and demanding environment.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent communication, organisational and secretarial skills to be part of the Senior Management Administration hub, providing support to the Trust's Senior Management Team based at the Caludon Centre. The administration team comprises of Personal Assistants, and Band 3 Team Secretarial support.

The successful candidate will be required to provide an efficient and comprehensive administration service within the team. We are looking for an individual with a positive approach to change who is supportive of service improvements.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level with an administration NVQ /QCF or equivalent experience. Excellent IT skills are essential including a good working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, email and diary management. Previous experience of working in a busy office environment and taking meeting minutes is also a requirement of the role.

You must be able to build effective working relationships, have a flexible approach to work, be a team player and able to work autonomously, using your own initiative.

To support the Trusts move to remote working there will be some expectation for the successful applicant to be able to work from home on a rota basis which appropriate equipment will be provided.
