Are you an experienced, highly motivated administrator looking for a new challenge? Are you approachable, friendly, and compassionate with enthusiasm for developing new skills? If this describes you then this could be the job opportunity for you.

You will be supporting the Community Locality District Nursing service, which covers the whole of Coventry City. The service runs 7 days a week and we are looking for admin to support this 7 days service.  You will be expected to work across multiple sites.  You will be responsible for supporting the clinical team, arranging appointments , organising new starters kits and paperwork, stock/ uniform orders ect.  so good communication and organisational skills are vital.

Main duties of the job

You will provide comprehensive and accurate admin and clerical support to operational and clinical teams within our Adult Physical Health services.  This will include allocating and changing appointments on our inhouse clinical system,  accurate data inputting onto electronic patient records system, ordering stationery, clinical stores and equipment. arranging monthly equipment calibrations, attending meeting, Staff daily check-ins  and delegating work to band 2 staff.

This role is for 30.0 hours per week across a 7 day service and will have a 6 week rolling rota. The post holder will need to be flexible as they may be required to undertake cross site working to cover annual leave/sickness to meet the needs of the service.

Please note there are 3 main sites that will be covered: Tile Hill Health Centre, Willenhall Primary Care Centre & Newfield House.

Research and Development

  • Undertake surveys or audits (e.g., Yearly Stock takes, equipment usage) as necessary. Ensure other admin staff undertake this as required.
  • Complete staff surveys

Physical Effort

  • Advanced key board skills are required.
  • Use of Trust IT systems (e.g., data inputting)
  • Be familiar and competent with a variety of paper and electronic filing systems
  • Manual handling of files, stationery, and supplies
  • Work will be predominantly office based although travel to support services taking place at other Trust locations may be required
