Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our RISE Eating Disorder Services as a Waiting List Co-Ordinator on a full-time basis for 12 months.

The post holder will have excellent organisational skills, effective communication skills and the ability to be innovative in regards to the way in which clinical interventions are co-ordinated. 

You will play important roles supporting our Secondary Care Mental Health and Children and Young Adolescences Services and will be base cover activity within the following teams:

  • Eating Disorder’s Team
  • Home Treatment Offer

Please note it is likely that the role will incorporate remote/home working as well as a physical base. 

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

The main responsibilities of this post are to co-ordinate the delivery of clinical interventions for children and young people and their Families within the RISE Eating Disorder Service, specifically focusing on our New Home Treatment Offer. Co-ordinating diaries and patient contact will be essential to the effective delivery of this service. You will support specific processes for data management to contribute to the development of services, improve clinical outcomes and contribute to clinical and service audits.

The role will include working with children/young people and their families under supervision of clinicians within a multidisciplinary team.

Main Duties:

  • To adopt a client centred and sensitive approach to clinical work, collaborating with clients (and/or carer(s) where appropriate) in all aspects of their work.
  • To consult with family and/or other carers as appropriate and with agreement from the client.
  • To maintain accurate records of clinical contact regarding children, young people and their families.
  • To respond to telephone queries with families who may be anxious, distressed or aggressive at times in a professional manner demonstrating empathy and sensitivity and being aware of own boundaries to re direct to senior staff.
  • To contribute and receive information as part of a multi-disciplinary/multi-agency team to provide a co-ordinated and effective service to clients and carers.

RISE aims to build resilience and empower children and young people (as well as the adults in their lives) to know where to go for help and advice.

RISE is made up of several different services, each led by mental health specialists, who work with other local services and professionals to support Young people and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to join our  RISE Services.
