Health Care Assistants - Band 3

We are recruiting Mental Health Care Assistants for our inpatient dementia ward based in Nuneaton and we need your help! Previous experience in care and a relevant qualification in care e.g. Care Certificate or NVQ is desirable, and you must be motivated, kind and compassionate with a can do attitude to be successful in this role.

We need people who can offer the flexibility to work on the wards each day meeting the challenges of working shift patterns across 24 hours 7 days per week in very busy inpatient environments.

The post holder will join with all the members of staff who work in the Trust to provide a first class service both to patients and their carers

NVQ/QCF Level 3/Care certificate or equivalent qualification or be working towards

Good level of general education including literacy and numeracy

Willing and able to undertake training including MAPA and Basic life support, food hygiene

Previous experience in working in the health / care sector
