Job overview
This is a newly position within the People Directorate at Coventry & Warwickshire ICB (CWICB). We we are working towards the delivery of the People Plan for CWICB and we are embedding an HR Business Partner (HRBP) team into CWICB after a transfer of this part of the service from Commissioning Support Unit (CSU). This role will work with our existing team of established and developing HR professionals to shape HR for CWICB and deliver our People Plan.
Main duties of the job
The role will provide high quality and professional range of HR guidance and advice to staff and managers across the ICB ensuing focusing on consistent application of employment law and striving for best practice. You will work across the whole ICB with the support of the team on a full range of HR and OD activities including employee relations, organisational change, project support, policy review and development, learning and development, organisational development, workforce wellbeing
Working for our organisation
This role open to hybrid working with requirements to regularly attend ICB and partner sites across Coventry and Warwickshire (ICB bases at Shire Hall, Warwick and Parkside House, Coventry).
This role is a part time role for 24 hours a week. The team is open to supporting a variety of arrangements for these 24, however regular Friday working is likely to be required.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Candidates should be very comfortable with all Microsoft tools and in using a variety of HRIS. You have experience working in HR providing ER advice within a complex, unionised environment along with experience of developing, reviewing and implementing policies/procedures and an understanding of how HR operates in the NHS. A demonstrable dedication of EDI and to HR related CPD is also essential.

Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent (apprenticeship, NVQ etc) or CIPD Level 5 or equivalent in HR
- GCSE English and mathematics at A-C, or grade 4 and above or equivalent
- Significant experience of working in HR and providing ER advice within complex, unionised organisations and for a range of customers
- Demonstrable understanding of how the NHS operates so that advice can be given in context.
- Evidence of development/review and implementation of HR policies
- Proven experience in promoting equality, diversity and inclusion
- Knowledge and experience of general office IT and HR systems.
