Probationary Period
All new staff to the Trust will be subject to a standard 6 month probationary period, the details of which will duly follow in your contract of employment.

Agile and Flexible Working
All our staff will have a work base. However the Trust operates as an Agile Working Team therefore staff may be working from home on a regular basis as required by the service. However, occasionally travel around Warwickshire and into your base will be required so access to your own transport would be helpful.

The post-holder will play an essential role in developing our ambition to continue to build a high-quality clinical Dermatology service. The successful applicant will be a committed clinician with specialist training in Dermatology and a commitment to excellent clinical service delivery, service improvement, teaching, training and other qualities as identified in the person specification.
Main duties of the job
Working for SWUFT you will work between our newly refurbished Warwick Dermatology Centre based on Cape Road Warwick and Stratford Hospital with commitment to attend Warwick main site for any urgent in-patient referrals. Our centre undertakes all assessments, therapeutic treatments and minor operations for general dermatology and cancer patients. We have a team of dedicated dermatology nurses, cancer nurse specialists and support workers within the centre and medical secretarial support.
This is a tentative job plan and the department will be flexible to meet the appointee needs to agree on a flexible job plan to ensure health and wellbeing and achieve work life balance.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
This is an especially exciting time to join the team as we have just relocated to newly refurbished premises in the centre of Warwick. This is a unit purely dedicated to the Dermatology department housing consultants, nurses and the secretarial team.
We provide a comprehensive General Dermatology and Skin Cancer Service to the patients of South Warwickshire. The majority of the Outpatient Clinics take place at Warwick Hospital (which will relocate to the new premises), with some clinics being at Stratford Hospital. We also provide Inpatient Dermatology Services at Warwick Hospital, and take referrals from patients under other teams who have skin problems.
Skin surgery is provided at Stratford Hospital and in the Dermatology Jephson Unit. Dr B Gee provides an Advanced Skin Surgery Service. Several Nurse Led Biopsy Lists operate each week at Warwick and Stratford Hospitals.
