Main duties of the job
As part of our community transformation we are looking for dynamic STR Workers to work with people who have eating disorders. We have posts in
i) In the new Outreach element of our service.
The post holder will be required to support service users in their recovery and actively engage patients in their care whilst working in recovery from an Eating Disorder. We support our team to develop further their specialised skills and have an in service programme to support our development within our roles.
Working for our organisation
The Black Country All Age Eating Disorder Service is going through an exciting time of change and development. The STR worker in our Outreach pathway is a new role to the service and demonstrates our drive to develop services to meet patient’s needs. We are adding STR workers to our CYPED and adult ED elements of the service as we recognise the value in STR in our team. We are a multidisciplinary community based eating disorder service, delivering Specialist eating disorder assessment and interventions in line with NICE Guidance. We work across the age spectrum supporting people in recovery and treatment for an Eating Disorder.

We welcome applications from an experienced STR Worker with knowledge and experience of working with patients who have an eating disorder or who can demonstrate excellent transferable skills.
