Job overview

We are recruiting for a Band 4 IT Technician role. This role will be based across Sussex covering various sites throughout the area.

We are about to embark on two exciting Digital projects within the Trust and are looking for someone  to join our team on an 18 month fixed term contract, to work alongside our exiting team to deliver our Core Services and assist with the move to M365 and a new EPR(Electronic Patient Record)  during this exciting time.

Main duties of the job

Main responsibilities would include but not limited to resolving software and hardware issues and configuring of new and existing mobile phones, laptops and tablet devices and assisting trust staff in the use of M365.

The trust primarily uses Windows 10 and Office 2019 currently but will move to M365 and Azure over the next 24 months .  Ideally we would be looking for someone who has previous NHS IT, Microsoft 365 or local government experience.

The Digital Team is a welcoming, friendly Team, based over many sites.
We are made up of four Portfolio's - Clinical Systems, Patient Facing, Business Intelligence and Support Services along with a Technical Delivery Unit and a Project Management Office.
We have an 'Entertainment and Activities' (EAT), Team that organise social events, both face to face and virtual.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Experience with Windows  10, Office 2019, Microsoft 365, Audio/Visual Equipment, Dell, Android Mobiles and Apple devices would be beneficial but full training will be provided.

You will be required to travel to various sites across the trust so access to your own transport is essential.
