Job overview

Main duties of the job

Our services include Substance Misuse, reception screening, providing agreed care packages, undertaking appropriate physical health observations, clinics such as Phlebotomy, ECG, NHS health checks, sexual health, and health promotion. You will need a good level of communication skills, be a team player and provide high standards of care to patients under the supervision of a qualified nurse/practitioner. If you have NVQ level 3 and a good level of care experience, then we could have the perfect job for you.

Healthcare Support worker

Essential criteria
  • • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or currently studying in the final year of a degree in nursing
  • • Demonstration of experience of working with people with complex health needs, in a health or social care setting
  • • Knowledge of nursing standards gained through NVQ qualification or equivalent experience
  • • Understanding and application of confidentiality
Desirable criteria
  • • Knowledge or experience of working within a prison or secured environment setting
  • • Experience in responding to emergency situations
  • • Experience in using SystmOne
  • Experience of working with individuals with Substance Misuse needs
