An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Dental Nurse with GDC registration, to join our hardworking team within the Oral, Orthodontic & Maxillofacial Surgery Outpatients, at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated qualified Dental Nurse to work within our busy Outpatient Department on a permanent basis. The post is for 33 hours working over 4 days, with the need to be flexible.

The successful candidate will work closely with the whole team to develop and continue their skills.

Duties will include:

  • Working within a mixed role multidisciplinary team
  • Preparing clinical areas and specialist equipment
  • Assisting in minor oral surgery, minor Maxillofacial surgery, and orthodontics treatments
  • Assisting in clinics for patients with Head and Neck Cancers, TMJ conditions, Facial deformity and complex dental treatment.
  • Assisting and maintaining efficient and effective care for patients in line with best practice and current guidelines
  • Self-motivation and excellent communication skills
