Job overview

An opportunity has arisen to join the Booking Team within the Central Booking department at Salisbury Foundation Trust, as a band 3 Booking Coordinator.

You will join the main booking team and work within the team to provide an excellent, friendly and organised booking experience for our patients, working alongside the clinical staff to ensure the safe and appropriate booking of theatres, outpatient clinics and Endoscopy lists.

Join a busy team that's friendly and supportive, working collaboratively to cross cover. Experience using ESR, Lorenzo and a good understanding of patient pathways, booking and referral processes is desired but not essential as training will be provided.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for evidence of team working as well as the ability to work independently. The organisational skills to work in a busy team environment, whilst prioritising workload and working to deadline, recent administration experience is essential.

The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in patient/customer contact desirable.
