Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Haematology Department. The role would suit a well organised person who enjoys working in a busy environment.  Being a team player is essential as well as being individually motivated, with an ability to show initiative.

Main duties of the job

To co-ordinate, facilitate and assist with the implementation of all aspects of quality for Clinical Haematology with reference to Human Tissue Authority (HTA), Joint Accreditation for International Society for Cell Therapy and European group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (JACIE), Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance.

To work with the clinical haematology team to assist the Quality Manager, as co-ordinating specialist, for all quality measures in clinical haematology. Thus helping to ensure that regulatory standards are achieved and maintained.
