The Transformation Team is looking to recruit a Project Support Officer to support delivery of its transformation programmes and projects as part of the transformation portfolio spanning continuous quality improvement, innovation and digital change aligned through the Project Delivery System of the Trust's Continuous Improvement approach,  Improving Together.

We are particularly keen to hear from applicants with a keen interest in pursuing a career in project management.  This post offers an exciting entry into this professional field.  In this role you will have direct opportunity to work with a team of qualified project managers.  Access to a project management apprenticeship may also be possible.

Main duties of the job

We are offering an opportunity to meet the team and find out about working within The Transformation Team at Salisbury Hospital on Wednesday 4th September 2024.  Please drop in to the Staff Club at Salisbury Hospital from 9am to 1200pm. The event is optional but prospective candidates are strongly encouraged to attend to find out more about working with us.  You do not need to book a place, but do let us know at [email protected]  if you are coming along.

Essential criteria
  • one year’s experience of working in a public sector, or large organisation, project or programme environment
  • educated to diploma level, or have equivalent experience
  • good awareness of a recognised project management methodology
  • in depth knowledge of assurance procedures, committee, boards
  • proven track record of minuting meetings, note taking and administrative duties & using initiative
Desirable criteria
  • Continous & Quality improvement experience
  • Project management qualifications
  • Experience of process mapping & scoping requirements
