Research Fellow Urology – 12 months, Starting September 2024
This is an exciting opportunity that is ideally suited to a senior SHO or junior registrar level trainee who wants to gain more clinical experience with a chance to develop research and quality improvement skills. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our neurourology consultants to provide urological assessment and care for these patients.
Start date: ideally September 2024 but this is open to negotiation.
Candidates are encouraged to visit the Department and should contact Mr James Brewin on 01722 336262 ext 2293 to make the necessary arrangements.
Main duties of the job
This post offers dedicated 1:1 teaching in outpatients, video-urodynamics, theatres, and endoscopy. There would be an expectation that the post holder contributes to the urology on-call rota at a middle grade level. The current out of hours on-call commitments are one Saturday 24 hr on call every 5 weeks with no other night or evening on calls. All on calls are supported by consultant cover.
