We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our East Neurodevelopmental leadership team. We are looking for a Clinical team manager to lead our service for children & young people.

The East Neurodevelopmental service covers both Wrexham and Flintshire, North Wales. The team is multidisciplinary and offers Neurodevelopmental assessment services to children and adolescents. The team leader is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the team in partnership with clinical and admin leads and the service manager.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, sharing our passion for innovation and continuous service improvement. They will be able to demonstrate compassionate leadership skills and a commitment to facilitating an open learning culture that embraces the ideas and expertise of team members to improve care and service delivery. For this, you will need excellent relationship building and engagement skills and be capable of developing positive partnerships with a range of stakeholders. You will understand and embrace the challenge of delivering a service, which is high quality, efficient, and sustainable, in keeping with the principles of prudent healthcare.

Main duties of the job

A background of working within children's services and a knowledge of both regional & national neurodevelopmental assessment pathways would be advantageous. However, we are also keen to hear from candidates from other clinical specialities connected to supporting neurodivergence for children and families, and can demonstrate transferable skills in managing performance, quality, and safety.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
