Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a number of permanent part time Band 2 Health Care Support on AMU Short Stay at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Applicants must have an approachable manner necessary to deal with patients and their relatives and desirable experience of a hospital environment.

Applicants will work as part of a team of nurses on the ward and undertake patient fundamentals of nursing care tasks under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered General Nurse responsible for the patient’s management.

The successful candidates will work within the Emergency Quadrant which consists of ED, AMU Short Stay and AMU Assessment. This role can be challenging at times, however you will be working as part of a well established team. 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
