Job overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Manager to join the Mental Health and Learning Disability team within the integrated Healthcare team here at HMP Berwyn, a category C prison for adult men with a range of varied health needs. This is a great opportunity to embed change and embed a shared culture with HMP and the probation service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • RMN / RLDN
  • Post-Degree Education in a relevant field.
  • Evidence of having developed clinical practice and Continued Professional Development
Desirable criteria
  • Academic qualification relating to Mental Health or Learning Disability.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proven experience of managing and dealing with complex HR cases
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in a prison or locked environment.
