Job overview

Your responsibility will be ensuring that Sirona complies with all statutory and contractual obligations as well as supporting and overseeing the process to enable a high quality student experience.  

Students and placements may be varied and for example includes apprenticeships, medical students, health students and work experience (T Levels), and includes the registered and unregistered workforce.

Main duties of the job

To have oversight of all students, trainee and apprenticeship activity across Sirona, including the registered and unregistered workforce, ensuring that a high quality experience for all those in training, and a joined up and integrated approach to strategic workforce development.  


To develop and maintain positive external relationships – i.e. HEE, UWE and other HEI and education/apprenticeship providers.
Have oversight to ensure that policies and local and national guidelines are communicated effectively to all staff to enable changing practice.


Responsible for the writing and presenting of complex reports and policies, and ensuring these reports are communicated at the appropriate level within the organisation as required.


Represent the organisation at meetings hosted by other NHS and non–NHS organisations as required and on external committees, involvement groups and charitable organisations to provide strategic advice and support as required.


Work collaboratively with other NHS organisations, and play an active role in the work of Healthier Together, particularly around the pro-active development of new education routes, new roles, apprenticeship development and strategic workforce priorities.
