Job overview
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, passionate, compassionate, flexible Facilities Coordinator to support the Catering Management Team in the delivery of efficient and effective operational services across the Catering Service within BCUHB Central. We are looking for an individual that can contribute into leading a hard working team, ensuring that the best Catering service is provided to patients and staff. This vacancy will be based at Glan Clwyd Hospital but regular visits across 6 community sites will be required. This will include site audits, review staff compliance, and undertake staff management meetings as and when required. The post holder must have excellent knowledge of Food Safety, Health and Safety, and a proactive work ethic.
This post holder is a key member of the Facilities team and will be required to provide support in the development of service improvements and assist with, or undertake specific tasks/projects as required within the Facilities Team.
Main duties of the job
The job will involve working with the Catering Management Team to ensure the best possible Catering Service for Patients, Staff and Visitors. This will include food safety audits, sickness management meetings, staff annual review meetings, and daily supervision duties within acute and community sites.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
