Highly Specialist Dietitian-Head and Neck Cancer

Are you a dietitian with a genuine interest in head and neck surgery? Would you like to be involved in teaching and service development?
We have an exciting opportunity for a dietitian to enhance their skills and knowledge in Head and Neck Oncology as part of our team at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS trust.

We are looking for a dietitian to join our team of head and neck dietitians at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH). The dietitians are valued members of the Head And Neck multidisciplinary team and provide a high quality service to pre and post-operative Head and Neck cancer patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. You will be working closely with the wider members of the multidisciplinary team including consultants. Specialist speech and language therapists, specialist nurses, dietetic colleagues and ward staff to ensure an effective and consistent service. A good knowledge of the management of nutritional support patients and enteral nutrition is essential. You will need to have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to manage a small specialist team. We would expect you to be enthusiastic, motivated and supportive of the wider dietetic team. This post is ideal for a dietitian wishing to develop their clinical, leadership and service development skills.
