Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join our team as a Logistics Officer at the Freeman Hospital.

The ability to work on your own, as well as part of a wider team, is essential. This role requires frequent manual handling tasks and the use email, telephone and stock management systems. Current UK Driving Licence is essential for this post.

Main duties of the job

  • Management of stock movements, including checking, receipt, picking and packing, loading and unloading, stock takes and liaising with end-users and suppliers.
  • General office admin duties, including managing telephone and email requests and record keeping.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To provide a well-managed efficient, secure, safe, accurate and timely service for the receipt, storage and distribution of goods at the Freeman Hospital.

Essential criteria
  • Valid UK Driving Licence

  • European computer driving licence qualification or equivalent qualification / experience.
