We currently have a vacancy for a full-time clinical administrator within Cardiology and would like to welcome you to be part of our innovative team!

If you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, then we want you!  This role is crucial to providing and maintaining an efficient and effective service for patients and their families.  We are looking for someone who likes to collaborate with others as well as across our amazing organisation. We are also looking for someone that has a great eye for detail.

  • If successful, you will be responsible for liaising with clinical and non-clinical professional staff for the delivery of a high standard of care.  Your role will directly impact patient experience and be part of providing seamless delivery of care. 
  • You would be part of a service that is a centre of excellence for cardiac and respiratory care, providing some of the Trust’s flagship services.  We are one of the top units in the UK, providing specialist treatment for all types of heart and respiratory related conditions in adults and children across the Freeman, Royal Victoria Infirmary and Community.  This is a crucial role to support our professional teams, so we are looking for someone confident and assertive, with the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.  In return, you will be part of an organisation that is committed to the development and training of all staff; and you will be supported to develop and broaden your knowledge and skills.

  • Working within a team of administrative staff to provide a comprehensive support service to Consultants, Medical Staff and other members of the team e.g., Specialist Nurses.
  • Communicates with patients regarding management of appointments and admissions at the request of the medical team.
  • Provide cover for within your administration team as required.
  • Cover Clinical Administrator posts Trust wide as required.

  • English qualification at Level 2 (GCSE Grades 9-4 or A*-C, or Functional or Key Skills at Level 2)
  • Maths qualification at Level 1 (GCSE Grades 3-2 or D-F, or Functional or Key Skills at Level 1

Knowledge and Experience
