The NW London ICB has an established Safeguarding service to cover the boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. The ICB Safeguarding Team consists of two Assistant Directors for Safeguarding, Designated Professionals for Safeguarding Children, Children Looked After and Safeguarding Adults. The service also covers the Child Death Review Team and the LeDeR Team. The Safeguarding Team is responsible for ensuring the safeguarding statutory duties of the NWL ICB are carried out in a timely and effective way.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide effective administrative support to the Safeguarding Team, acting as the first point of contact. The post holder will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of a NWL wide service, working with the Team, and liaising with partners involved with the Safeguarding process as necessary. The post holder will also maintain databases around the safeguarding activity, including training data. The post holder will assist in the gathering of information as requested, and assist with the collation of data and producing of reports. They will also be responsible for organising meetings, distributing relevant papers, and taking high quality minutes.
The Safeguarding service sits in the Chief Nursing Officer Directorate of NWL ICB, and it works very closely with the NWL LeDeR Team, the Child Death Review Team and the services across the NWL Integrated Care System. There will be close relationships with the Safeguarding Partnership Boards across NW London to ensure learning is disseminated across a multiagency setting.
There are strong working relationships across the Chief Nursing Officer Directorate which enables staff to be supported and developed and feel part of a wider team

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
Knowledge training and experience
Essential criteria
- Previous administrative experience, including bookings across a complex and varied series of partner sites and venues.
- Good understanding of the health and social care environment.
- Ability to use multiple IT applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience in Effective Minute Taking
- Management of workload on a day-to-day basis, proactively refine related administrative procedures and act independently to action and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
Desirable criteria
- Further training or significant experience on administration functions, project management or supporting change processes.
